Electric Daisy Carnival New York 2015

After two sunny, energy-filled days, the 4th annual Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), New York has come to a close. Over 100,000 headliners came together this holiday weekend at MetLife Stadium to experience a world of whimsical décor, playful costumed characters, carnival rides, specially curated art installations and over 70 of the top acts in dance music performing across five stages.

EDC New York’s most immersive stage production yet came to the Tri-State Area for the first time with the colossal kineticCATHEDRAL stage. Made of over 300 tons of steel, the 90 foot stage featured two signature Insomniac owls and massive LED screen panels that created the illusion of detailed stained glass windows, captivating fans throughout the weekend.

Attendees who rode EDC’s iconic Ferris Wheel were treated to a birds-eye view of kineticCATHEDRAL. Fans could also enjoy epic views of the festival grounds from four other full-scale carnival rides. Attendees looking to rest their feet could relax in the peace and tranquility created by the 10-foot tall Buddha figure or lounge in the Dandelion Forest art installation.

A new addition to this year’s show was 7UP’s Live It Up Deck, a three-story structure offering headliners complimentary soft drinks, phone charging stations and a beautiful, heightened view of the kineticCATHEDRAL each night as the five minute fireworks display boomed overhead.
